Every year in the UK over 80,000 babies are born premature or requiring medical attention.
New Life is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units. The Charity was launched by Trevor Goodall in 1995 in memory of his sons Joshua and Samuel who were born 3 months early weighing just 1lb 1oz and 1lb 3oz. Sadly, they both died after a week, but their struggle inspired Trevor to do something. Now each year the charity goes from strength to strength.
To date Trevor and his team of volunteers have raised in excess of £700,000.00 helping hospitals such as Swindon, Reading, Yeovil, Basingstoke, Bristol, Oxford, Nottingham and Hull raise funds to buy specialist equipment, improving the chances of babies born prematurely.
